Chinese Metaphysics Systems

Bridging Cultures, Enhancing Lives: Discover the Wisdom of Chinese Metaphysics



The New Zealand Feng Shui Society is offering a public lecture course on Chinese Metaphysics Systems. This course aims to introduce and summarize the traditional Chinese metaphysics system, helping participants quickly understand and grasp metaphysical concepts, laying a necessary foundation for further studies in Feng Shui, Yi Jing (I Ching), destiny analysis, and other Chinese traditional techniques. Through this course, participants will not only better appreciate the essence of traditional Chinese culture but also be able to make preliminary applications in their daily lives.



Target Audience: Schools, government institutions, educational organizations, libraries, non-profit organizations, associations in architecture, design, business, and all organizations or individuals with non-profit and public welfare purposes.



Language Options: The course is available in both Chinese and English.



Teaching Formats: The course can be conducted in-person at physical locations, online, or via live streaming on social media. Private or customized bookings for individuals or organizations are also available.


Cost: The course is free for the public


Course Content


Introduction to Metaphysics: Basic concepts and historical development of metaphysics.

Five Elements Theory: Detailed explanation of the properties of Metal, Wood, Water, Fire, and Earth, and their interrelationships.

Yin-Yang Theory: Origins, significance, and applications of Yin and Yang in metaphysics.



Ba Gua Principles: Basic concepts of Ba Gua and their use in Feng Shui and prediction.

Fundamentals of Destiny Analysis: Basic concepts and applications of Ba Zi and other destiny analysis methods.

Basics of Feng Shui: Introduction to Feng Shui principles and practical techniques to help participants master the basics of Feng Shui layout.

Reduce natural and man-made disasters, enhancing community well-being.

Help participants quickly grasp the basics of traditional Chinese metaphysics.
